About The Project

What is economic cultivation?  Taking current community strengths, such as arts and cultural amenities, entrepreneurial resources, and business clusters, and nurturing them to produce future prosperity.  

During the upcoming months, AE will lead the community through an evaluation of its unique attributes and opportunities. 

Cultivate Santa Fe will include the following scope of services:

1.  Project Set Up
Sets the tone for the strategic planning process by defining the expectations, goals, and methodology of the economic cultivation project.  The project kick-off event is April 10th.  

2.  Community Assessment Report
This report will consist of three areas:  analysis of public input, economic and demographic profile, and strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats analysis.

3.  Target Industries and Benchmarking Report
This report will identify industry clusters and business targets to accomplish cultivation.  It will also compare Santa Fe’s performance to four agreed upon benchmark communities.

4.  Strategic Economic Cultivation Plan
This comprehensive report will cover workforce, entrepreneurship, marketing and public relations, and community development.  It will have specific strategies, goals, measurements, and an implementation plan by timeframe.

5. Economic Cultivation Summit
The summit event will communicate the cultivation plan to the community. The city of Santa Fe will sponsor this event to discuss specific steps to accomplishing Santa Fe’s vision
